(Cindy) Zixin Zhang is an award-winning creative producer with a strong network and a passion for storytelling to ignite changes. She is a graduated producing fellow at the American Film Institute. She has an MFA degree from Northwestern University with a focus in Documentary Media as a scholarship recipient. Cindy's short documentary and narrative films have been selected by worldwide Academy & Bafta Qualifying festivals. She worked on the documentary series "Lady Parts Justice In The New World Order" that premiered at Doc NYC. She has produced "Bienvenido Juanito," which was awarded a DGA Jury Award for Best Student Film 2023, and "Lucky Market," which won a Golden Angel at the Chinese American Film Festival. Cindy is the executive producer for "After Class," which was screened at the Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia, where it won the esteemed Best Short Award. "Anshan Diaries" achieved recognition as a finalist at the Student Academy Awards, and "Langue" made its debut at the 2022 Palm Springs International Shortfest.

Cindy's journey in the film industry is marked by a dedication to creating visually compelling and thought-provoking narratives. Her films not only entertain but also educate and provoke meaningful discussions, making her a significant voice in contemporary cinema. Cindy continues to push the boundaries of traditional filmmaking, exploring new ways to engage viewers and address important issues through her creative vision.
